The Aztec features our smallest handle at 16.25". This light handle was developed to ensure a consistent and easy release when throwing. Additionally, this design allows for customization of the handle length if you prefer a shorter handle to better suit your throwing technique.

The Aztec is the best of the best!!! This axe instantly became my favorite thrower! It’s so lightweight and perfectly balanced that it feels more accurate than other axes. Not to mention the design is on a whole new level. If you are having a hard time deciding your next axe, do yourself a favor and pick up a Aztec!

Absolutely love it
I have weak joints from a medical condition but I LOVE throwing axes, and this axe is noticably less stressful for me to throw. I absolutely love it! My shoulders have a lot of nerve damage so I throw two handed, but this axe is actually light enough I can throw it one handed and get a bullseye without hurting myself! I've bought both variations, and my husband bought his own. All three have been absolutely perfect. The head is snug and the detail on the handle adds just the right amount of grip without needing tape. I'm absolutely in love. I'll be using this axe for my next amateur throwing league this fall!

It was a gift for my wife and she loves it. Great looking axe and throws nicely. Handle was a bit out of center and it got a chip on the blade in the first throwing session, but still a nice piece. We will see how long it holds up to weekly throwing.

Great axe, very light. Of the profile was thinner it would be perfect.
Arrived quickly and is beautiful to look at as well as being excellency balanced for throwing with a great head shape and sharp.
Have been throwing a Bad Axe and winning. Was intrigued by the lighter weight of the Aztec so got one. Noticeably lighter but also very well balanced. Bullseyes right away. Does require a slightly more forward throw to account for faster spin (lighter) but not much so easy to adjust. Used it the next day in a close tournament and won on kill shots, so definitely a keeper!
