Great axe head! Seemingly perfect weight and although i thought it would have problems sticking with a straight on hit it drives just fine. Looking forward to it's help in hopefully get me a bid to worlds this year. The look of the squareshape has grown on me and like it's symmetrical look more than a traditional shape. Thanks again, -Jon
Great introduction to axe coaching! We just opened our venue, the information is valuable and the lanes stay packed. I look for to you getting merch back in stock so we can get some hats for our employees!
First time. It was fun.
The guys love them, are still playing with them almost daily but this is what they looked like after the first night they had them. Not very rugged or durable (the handles) watl replaced the fist handle for free but charged me shipping for the other two and I have not received the last two yet. The guys are planning on making their own handles they hope will not be so easily chipped. But even damaged and dinged the axe's are well loved and well used.
Best axe I've thrown in a long time. The weight is perfect. Thank you.
The Aztec is the best of the best!!! This axe instantly became my favorite thrower! It’s so lightweight and perfectly balanced that it feels more accurate than other axes. Not to mention the design is on a whole new level. If you are having a hard time deciding your next axe, do yourself a favor and pick up a Aztec!
Light weight & well balanced axe am very pleased with it.
My son was needing a new axe, so for his birthday i ordered one for him. He loves it.
Absolutely love it
I have weak joints from a medical condition but I LOVE throwing axes, and this axe is noticably less stressful for me to throw. I absolutely love it! My shoulders have a lot of nerve damage so I throw two handed, but this axe is actually light enough I can throw it one handed and get a bullseye without hurting myself! I've bought both variations, and my husband bought his own. All three have been absolutely perfect. The head is snug and the detail on the handle adds just the right amount of grip without needing tape. I'm absolutely in love. I'll be using this axe for my next amateur throwing league this fall!
Got this for my husband for Father’s Day and he loved it! Beautiful ax! He has a big collection and will continue to add to it. Always happy with my orders!
It’s a beautiful axe! Very light and throws nice.
Bought as a retirement gift.
Just built a new target in my yard, so I got a chance to use my new ink. It dries quickly and is very visible.
Shipped well, gorgeous, feels good in the hand, and Apollo approves!
Flies well, sticks to the target
Kit was great and axe sticks well. My only suggestion is to offer the cottonwood boards as a 4 ft option, since it would go well with the target plans I found on the website. Also, my stenciling skills could use a little practice. The Lieutenant throwing axe throws true and sticks in the target deep, much different than the range axes I have been used to throwing.
I love it!!
The handle looks nice, but the split portion was too short so I had to sand and cut away more of the handle for the top of the split section to be flush with the top my Jack Of Clubs axe head. While trying to hammer the handle into the head, the bottom of the handle splintered because of the sizing issue mentioned above. I was able to use wood glue to reattach a few splinters, but I mostly had to use it like resin to fill big space and then sand it to the correct shape.
Works
Really the only issue was the eye had a slant half way up that made it hard to half on the handle. Profile was good the bit was sharp priced fairly and promptly shipped. Put it on a new premium hickory handle with Purple Heart wedge and barrel wedge.lite wrap charr
I love my “bad axe”. The extra weight is helping with my over rotation issues, the slightly flared head helps catch the wood even if I tip it in. It’s extremely well balanced. The snake insignia on the butt is very cool. I’ve let quite a few of my league members throw it and it’s been a big hit!
It is definitely sticking better when I try for clutch. Have just switched tk one handed so will take a couple of times to get used to it but...it feels good to throw.
Amazing axe, well balanced, sticks everytime
Excellent customer service. Ace axe is my go to, love it.
Recently got into axe throwing, and wanted my own axe. I loved the design of this axe, so I ordered it immediately. This axe did not disappoint. It feels good to throw. I'm looking forward to throwing the Ragnar in my first league.
Took a little longer to get used to than the corporal but now flies well. Very sharp. Lovely axe.
Excellent quality product, fantastic customer service, and great discount price.
The axe-throwing coach training course proved to be extremely valuable for our business in Argentina. It provided clear, practical guidance on technique, safety, group management, and error correction, which immediately improved the quality of our sessions. Thanks to this training, we were able to standardize our protocols, enhance the customer experience, and strengthen the confidence and preparedness of our coaching team. It is a well-structured, hands-on course that is essential for any venue looking to operate the activity safely and professionally. We genuinely recommend it.
Great axe
Love it , well balanced , a very nice axe to throw ! Thanks Watyl !!
Super accurate, light, my 13 year old son likes this one.
Great thrower, accurate and hits with authority!
Much obliged ma'am
Mario, Unfortunately the Pro KOD head I received had a bit that was twisted to the right. I reported the issue to logistics and sent additional pics last night. I was able to use the head by making some adjustments to the hang but really wish the pro level heads had better QC. This will be the second or third Pro head I’ve received in the last year or so in as many orders that was not perfect. You’ve always rectified it by replacing the head. I don’t need a free head this time since I made it work and this customer isn’t that picky. Overall the hatchet turned out fine Thanks Brad Vintage Axe Revival
Outstanding big axe.
Good took me 3 tries
Amazing flyer in my opinion the best so far. Love the King of Diamonds this is as good if not even better.
When I won the Swedish championship in silouette. ✌️😁🪓😎
As a beginner axe thrower I'm finding throwing The corporal has improved my game with less drops and the weight feels balanced.
