Great axe head! Seemingly perfect weight and although i thought it would have problems sticking with a straight on hit it drives just fine. Looking forward to it's help in hopefully get me a bid to worlds this year. The look of the squareshape has grown on me and like it's symmetrical look more than a traditional shape.
Thanks again,
-Jon
Really the only issue was the eye had a slant half way up that made it hard to half on the handle. Profile was good the bit was sharp priced fairly and promptly shipped. Put it on a new premium hickory handle with Purple Heart wedge and barrel wedge.lite wrap charr
Mario,
Unfortunately the Pro KOD head I received had a bit that was twisted to the right. I reported the issue to logistics and sent additional pics last night. I was able to use the head by making some adjustments to the hang but really wish the pro level heads had better QC. This will be the second or third Pro head I’ve received in the last year or so in as many orders that was not perfect. You’ve always rectified it by replacing the head. I don’t need a free head this time since I made it work and this customer isn’t that picky.
Overall the hatchet turned out fine
Thanks
Brad

Thought I would give this pro Ragnar head a try. I made a handle for it from a hickory handle out of a axe I used in the 1970s. I sand it down to 3000 grit ebonized and charred it and oiled it with linseed oil and beeswax feels good and throws well. It sticks well and has great coverage so you get those bulls. The price was fair and shipping fast.
Ordered the Ragnar pro head and handle separately. The handle arrived right away but the head took a while to get here through Canada Post. The handle fit the head perfectly and was the easiest hang I’ve ever done. The axe throws great, very pleased.
I ordered a square replacement handle for it but ended up making my own handle and added one inch to the length making it 18".
Throws great. It's one of my best.
Hung on a Darin Terhark 19 inch Ash handle. Came in at 2lbs 0.8 oz. I’m still learning but more experienced 15 ft throwers just love it. I may be forced to sell.
Only issue with the order is that I was charged shipping by FedEX and additional taxes for the patch that trippled it's price because it was shipped from Canada. This is a situation that customers from the US should be warned about. I have disputed the FedEx charges. We shall see what happens.
