I'm new to axe throwing. Built the target per the specs that came with my WATL starter kit. Love these kill shot axes. For a beginner, they have a great feel, and I have no trouble sinking them in the target. Would definitely buy again!

Best option having the fiberglass handle. Way more durable than the wood handles version. Easy to learn to throw and great for beginners. I have bought dozens of both wood handled and fiberglass kill shots, only ones left standing are the fiberglass. If you are a novice thrower, get this and save the wood handles for when you figure out axe throwing is about finesse and not breaking boards... Granted the latter is fun regardless.
The ordering process was easy and the website is easy to use. It is a quality axe for a reasonable price. Please consider purchasing your throwing axes from the WATL. You know exactly what you will be getting from this site. Other vendors may be selling axes that are not as well made for throwing. This is a solid and well made product.

I’m glad that we picked out the kill shot series throwing axes. The very next day they were sold out but no issues for us. The axes are built very well with the synthetic grip and a good weight to them. Easy to throw and they came with a very good edge and a nice profile. Now, I won’t be participating in any world champion axe throwing contests any time soon but these are great for a backyard setup and all of our needs. Great all around product.

Bought it for a friend's retirement celebration and presented it to him there. He called me a few days later and told me he'd tried it out and had the throwing distances figured out -- 5 steps and 9 steps.

I purchased the Killshot axe for practice as we have a local ax throwing venue near our home. The Killshot is an awesome axe for any beginner, well balanced and easy to throw. If you are a beginner this is the axe for you.

We run a year round camp with plenty of target sports including axe throwing. These handles are surprisingly durable after taking a beating from being thrown hundreds of times.

Hi Mario.. I love the axe and so do my friends but we haven't thrown them yet . I joined a league at a place called stumpy's and when we brought them into the place they made us put them back I to our cars they said anything associated with your name is not allowed into the building I don't have the real story but they said both of your businesses don't get along. But I have a building business for 26 years so I will have to build some boards in the backyard to try them. But we do love them and everyone in that place that seen them asked us where we got them. The axe seems to be good quality, but the sheath had two rivets pop off one and one fell off the other. I bought two axes. Pool quality. The axe head won’t pop off, will it?
Trying something very different than I'm used to. A plastic handle and resin sealed handle in axe head. It also came pretty poorly packaged. Sliding around inside a oversized box. No wrapping. No padding or bubble wrap. Axe head is square and plumb with handle. Handle is mounted solid in head. Head is sharp and ready to throw. Grinding and painted logo look good. Axe seems to be a consistent Thrower. Problem with the axe I received was pour finishing of the plastic handle. Had a rough ridge on both sides along the edges where the mold comes together. I spent several hours trimming off and then sanding smooth the handle so it could be thrown without damaging my hand. The axe does throw well. The sheath is padded and fits well.
Good solid axe. Many guys in the “Lizzie Borden” Axe Throwing Club use it weekly. We are a bunch of beginners, having a lot of fun. The axe has withstood many klunkers and has held up well. I believe a wood handle axe would not have lasted as long.

Excellent weight and craftsmanship
Overall good axe, needs to be a bit sharper in my opinion but with more force has no problems.
All of my friends wanted to use this as it stuck in the wall with so little effort. It throws beautifully and came sharp and ready to use out the package.
Definitely a different experience from the WATL competition thrower that came with the starter pack.
Great starter axe!
We had only thrown axes once and decided to make our own target. In researching axes, I noticed that a lot of the complaints were about breakage. I decided to purchase 2 of the WATL axes and have been very pleased with them. We had 5 of us throwing(and missing) and have not had any problems with the axes.
