Excellent customer service. Ace axe is my go to, love it.
The ace of spades is truly a easy to throw axe. Drops almost never happen. Flies true upon release. Weight also is a plus I can throw it and never feel fatigue. Axe was sharp from factory did not take much to make it sharp enough for my liking. Would highly recommend this axe.
Got it for my son in law so I would have someone to throw with . He likes likes the weight and feel has not bounced one yet .plan on buying for donating to charity auctions as well .
i throw a bad axe in the past couple months and now my latest purchase the Ace of Spades it seems to feel a little more wholesome than the Bad Axe but its very marginal . i went back and forth with them and yesterday. I do like the Ace of Spades slightly better. they both hit the mark well. i been letting my 15 yr old grandson throw the Bad Axe all he wants but the Ace of Spades is more difficult to part with. It does seem to be a little more accurate, maybe just because its sexy. I do like the looks of it more, a big percentage of it is in your head anyway.. its not the pro model but i been really polishing it up. I just ordered the Corporal for the flater blade, we'll have to see how it measures up to my Ace on my next review. Love these Axes and shortened both to 15 -1/2" handles, feel best to me.
I bough the ace of spades because I joined a league and everyone said they loved it. It took me a little while to get used to it because I throw an east wing and i use two hands and it’s heavier. When I went to check out a discounted sheath popped up and so I bought it with the axe. Unfortunately it fits the butcher and not the ace so I’m not super happy about that. Also the ace head moves so much that every time I throw it I have to hit it on the ground to put it back in the right spot. I know that axes move and break but I just got it and it was pretty expensive so I wished it lasted longer before I had to glue it.
We went axe throwing three times and got hooked. We joined a league at the WATL sanctioned Battle of the Axes in Williamstown, NJ and knew we needed our own axes. Ace of Spades is an excellent that both me and my wife throw. Loved the Ace of Spades so much I also bought a Bad Axe.
I bought the Butcher first and like it a lot, but the women and smaller folks said it was a bit heavy so I purchased the Ace. Everyone loves the Ace and I have to say it is the easiest to stick and aim.
i refinished the stock handles and they came out awesome. Everyone I showed these handles to loved how they turned out. Of course they gave me all the credit, lol. But the grain in these particular handles is why they turn out so awesome. The heads needed a little work to make them perfect, but didn’t have to be done, I just love making them flawless.
Absolutely love the Ace of Spades! Last season I threw the butcher and recently made the switch to AOS. I can see the improvement in my scores already in practice. When I saw the Black Friday sale for half off I couldn’t resist and bought 2!
(Yes I realize this is a picture of me throwing the Butcher, don’t have a cool pic yet of me throwing the ace of spades)
I have been throwing for some time now. Wonderful sport and hobby. Now that I am switching to throwing one handed the Ace of Spades is very easy for me to throw.
Just started throwing in an axe league in Champaign Illinois at the beginning of October. The Ace of Spades has truly become a precision projectile and has helped me achieve high scoring games.
I have modified the bit to a finer profile to be able to sink into the board, even when they are on the denser end. The balance and weight is fantastic for my personal throwing style; rotation is not difficult to initiate and even my girlfriend (who is extremely new) has started sinking bullseyes. Takes my game to a higher level.
I’ll be getting another one when this one gets retired,
The quality and throwing-focused design is evident when you pick it up. It's beefy - not too heavy, but has its own gravity in your hand. The blade design ensures nearly every throw sticks firmly. It flies straight and true. I've thrown it over 100x in a couple of hours and it didn't wear me out. No need to throw hard - just a little arc and a crisp release will put it on target. 💯 Recommended.
The Ace of Spades has improved my game so much, I wonder how I ever got along without it!
I used a Bury The Hatchet house axe in our summer league and topped out at #13 out of 22 competitors.
I wanted to up my game to the next level and realized if I want to play with the big boys, I needed big boy toys to compete and a lot of the seasoned veterans were using the Ace of Spades for our fall league and has made a world of difference in my game.
It came weeks before our fall tournament was to begin, so I had time to practice with it before the tournament.
I had my best game ever in our week 1 tournament and scored a 188 out of a possible 256 and out of 29 competitors, I ranked at #5!
Can't wait to see how far I can go in the coming weeks!
Thanks for a great and I'll continue to keep kicking some axe! Greg "The Timberwolf" Allen
Honestly, you won't find a better thrower ANYWHERE.
Balance? Check.
Sharp AF? Check.
Prettier than your first crush? Check.
If you're searching for the "One", save yourself some time and effort and just go with the Ace of Spades.
Because that's the way I like it baby, and I don't wanna live forever.
Hoping at least a couple of you get that reference.😁😎✊✌🍻
Bought my ace of spade yesterday from Bad Axe Croydon UK and well. I love it. It just glides with a wrist flick. Well balanced and light weight. And let’s be honest. It looks amazing.
Love my ace of spades. It arrived quite quickly and it is good quality. So glad I was able to snag an ace even though it is in limited supply right now. Photo credit to Throvv for the photo.
Awesome looking, could not find anything wrong with it other then the ace on the back is a bit off on one side.. was kind sad to see it did not get sent with any stickers.. but other then that it is awesome.
Great axe!!! Started sticking on the second throw and I haven’t looked back. I bought one for my wife as well and it is the perfect axe for her as well (two handed throw).
We started throwing axes when my son came to visit this fall. It was love at first throw .Texas Axe Company in Spring Texas is a great place they gave us a lesson then we were hooked. Purchased our first Axe from them its a winner.
